Description:	THP-1 cells derived from the peripheral blood of acute monocytic leukaemia. THP-1 cell line can differentiate into macrophage-like cells (phagocytic) and can be used for induction of differentiation studies. When stimulated with PMA cells have been reported to differentialte into a monocytic pathway and release arachidonic acid and prostanoids.
Further Information:	Formulation: Liquid. In SDS-PAGE Sample Buffer (0.12M Tris-HCl pH6.8, 0.4% SDS, 5% Glycerol, 1% beta-mercaptoethanol, 0.02% Bromophenol blue)
