Multiplex Transcription Factor Assays
Marligen’s Multiplex Transcription Factor Assays employ a powerful multiplexing approach for simultaneously measuring the binding of many different transcription factors to their unique regulatory DNA elements. The technology dramatically accelerates studies ranging from basic research in signal transduction and proteomics to target validation, compound screening, toxicity testing and disease characterization.

Advantages:
- Speed, ease of use and quantitation vastly outperform EMSAs
- Excellent sensitivity, specificity, reproducibility and dynamic range versus ELISAs
- Unparalled speed of data acquisition - ~2,000 results in 3 hours
- Small sample requirement saves time and money
- Assays validated in many cells lines, primary cells and tissues from humans, monkeys and rodents
- Multiple binding sites in assay mimics in vivo binding conditions
Marligen offers 20 different assays that are available in a pre-mixed 20-plex or as single-plexes that can be combined to make your own custom panel. These assays include AP-1, AP2, AR, CRE-ATF, CREB, E2F1-5, E2F6, EGR, GATA, HNF1, HNF4, ISRE, Myc-Max, NF-1, NFkB, p53, PPAR, SMAD2/3, SP1, and YY1. A Multiplex Transcription Factor Profiling Kit (Cat. No. 11955-096) contains all of the common assay reagents and is required to run a custom multiplex panel. All of these multiplex assays are formatted to be read on the Luminex Reader. Find out more details about the Luminex xMAP® technology and instrumentation.
For researchers interested in trying out our assays but do not have access to the Luminex instrumentation or who would prefer to outsource the work, our experienced technical staff also performs Testing Services.
