Signet™ Genotyping Assays Marligen’s Signet™ Genotyping Products and Services are designed to rapidly and accurately detect genetic variations including single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), small insertions and deletions (indels) and whole gene deletions. SNPs and other genetic variants may be associated with a variety of health and nutritional conditions and have application in pharmacogenomics, nutrition, toxicology, and ancestry. The products offered include specific panels that are ready to use on the Luminex™ xMAP platform for multiplexed analysis. In addition, panels can be customized to suit user’s individual needs or new panels can be developed through Marligen’s custom assay development services. For those customers without access to a Luminex instrument or in-house testing is not feasible, Marligen offers a full range of genotyping services.
Marligen’s Signet™ Genotyping Panels are ready-made multiplexes that detect polymorphisms and gene variants associated with a variety of health and nutritional conditions including heart and bone health, insulin sensitivity, inflammation, obesity, and Alzheimer’s disease. These assays have application in nutrition, pharmacogenomics, toxicology and personalized health. Additional panels are constantly being added to our menu. Download the full list of panels Individual assays in Signet™ genotyping panels can be configured into Custom-Mixed Genotyping Panels. For example, ten SNPs from five different panels can be reconfigured into a single custom-mixed panel. Choose as many assays as you like from the full assay list and send the list to Marligen for a custom quotation. Once you have chosen your SNPs or variants, Marligen scientists will reconfigure the panels to your specifications, manufacture reagents, validate performance, and send you a complete package ready for use. In addition to the specific genotyping panels that Marligen offer, Marligen’s scientists can work with you to design, develop, and manufacture specific Custom SNP Genotyping Assays. Send us your sequences, and Marligen will design and test the multiplex PCR and ASPE reactions, manufacture all reagents, validate the performance of the assays and deliver you a complete package ready for use. For customers who do not have access to a Luminex instrument or for other reasons would rather not perform the genotyping analysis themselves, Marligen offers Signet™ Genotyping Testing Services. Send us your DNA samples, buccal swabs, blood or other specimens, and Marligen will prepare the samples, run the assays of your choice, and supply you with the data and a genotyping report. A range of Signet™ Genotyping Kits have been designed to rapidly and accurately detect polymorphisms and gene variations associated with a variety of health and nutritional conditions including insulin sensitivity, inflammation, obesity and Alzheimer’s disease. Kits have also been developed to genotype male-specific markers on the Y-chromosome, with applications in ancestry testing and population genetics.
